I am now an official eaves-dropper. I was trying to catch two winks in the college hall, and it wasnt working, but i had my eyes closed and was reclining against a wall, and some kids walked over and sat down beside me.
two guys and two girls, two guys know one of the girls, but dont know the other one. They start out talking about a class, then move on to running, then move on to classification (fish, sophmore, ect.). Que aquward silence, the "Watcha think about this weather?" ( it is an exceptionally windy day here in My Town.).
Then I get this neck twinge. Where the electrical pain shoots down your neck and archaic curses from the dark ages are flashed into your frontal lobes. It hurt. So I grimiced. Then one of the girls laughed and said "I wonder what he is dreaming about". one of they guys responded, I do that in my sleep. It could be anything. Sometimes before my dad leaves for work at 5 in the morning he comes into my room "(where guy #2 says"If my dad did that I would yell at him)"and has conversations with me. I never wake up, but we talk."
At which point i wish when my dad comes into my room at 2 in the morning i would talk and never wake up, causing me to smile. Then the girl says "Look, now he is smiling". So then I open my eyes, and join their conversation.
IT was very satisfying listening to people comment on me when they didnt think I could hear.
Maybe now I can kinda relate to the girls from BC.......
But an also satisfying part was the girl that kept talking about me was the better looking one......
